Hello! Thank you for dropping by!
Hogmama has been a passion of mine for over 20 years. Hogmama is actually my nickname. My husband and I enjoy riding motorcycles as a hobby. A Harley Davidson motorcycle is known as a "hog." I am a mother. Thus, when I began riding motorcycles, I became Hogmama. I took to riding as a way to be free, independent, and to have a sort of, alter ego. Although motherhood is considered my single best accomplishment, I welcomed being a lady rider because it offered me another world outside of my domestic status.
Over the years, my husband and I have ridden thousands of miles through the Northwest and Canada. The countless stories, people, and mishaps we experienced are what stories are made of. As you might have guessed, the birth of Hogmama as a character began building in my brain. Some of the stories are funny, some hilarious, some downright ridiculous. I can't wait to share these stories with the world. Along with the stories, we experienced some of the most incredible scenery the mind can only imagine. I hope to share what we've seen through the eyes of Hogmama.
We have a saying in the motorcycle world when it's time to begin an adventure. Are you ready?
Kickstands up!
One way you can join in the adventure is to share the places you visit with Hogmama! Print a picture of Hogmama, known as "flat" Hogmama, create a post with her, and tag her on Instagram at @flathogmama or #flathogmama. If you would like a flat Hogmama, let me know! I'll send you one!
